Costco Raises Membership Fees

Price Increase Announced

Costco Wholesale Corporation (Nasdaq: COST) announced today that it will be raising membership fees in the United States and Canada. The new fees will take effect on September 1, 2024.

Details of the Increase

Costco's basic Gold Star membership will increase from $60 to $65 per year. The Business Gold Star membership will increase from $120 to $125 per year. The Executive Gold Star membership will increase from $150 to $155 per year.

Despite the fee increase, Costco's signature hot dog and soda combo will remain priced at $1.50.
